Cyclopsian signalfish

Here it is, my entry for 's February Combo Challenge fav.me/daxzayw

Basically we had to create six character sketches inspired by three given photos. From these sketches we had to choose one which we had to draw a final drawing off. This drawing was really fun as it inspired me to take another step into directions I wouldn't normally take and draw something very colorful and lovely

My entry is the Cyclopsian Signalfish
This fish has an enormous head which only holds one eye. This eye is very short sighted which results in comical situations. The light circles in the fishes disk-like head are able to make lights which circle around and around. It lives off tropical sea plants and lives in coral reefs, making it's home among the many plants and corals. It lays its eggs between the coral reef rocks. Its magnificent horns are used for display and territorial disputes.
